Best in the world for the second season in a row.

With two competitions left in the FIS Ski Cross World Cup, Anna Holmlund has an unbeatable lead with 208 points and has all ready secured the crystal globe! For the second season in a row she’s the best in the world.
-I’m super happy to win the over all title once again. With no major championship this winter the over all World Cup has been my big goal, says Anna Holmlund.
Anna has had an extremely impressive season. During 10 World Cup starts, she has won 4 times, placed second 4 times and only missed the big final once. When her competitors have missed, Anna has stepped up her game.
-This year has been different. I had no injuries when I started the training season last spring and the whole summer and fall I could focus on getting better instead of rehab and getting healthy. It’s been a big difference for me and I’ve also felt stronger in the competitions, says Anna.
Stronger than ever
With a good training year Anna has improved on all aspects. At the fitness tests last week Anna showed her best results so far in speed, strength and accelerations.
-Endless hours of hard training and focusing on being the best has paid off and I’m so happy and proud to win the title again, says Anna.
At the moment Anna is in Pyeongchang preparing for this weekends pre-Olympic competition and the second last World Cup of the season. Then she’s off to Arosa, Switzerland and the World Cup finals.
-There’s two important competitions left and I won’t give anything away just because I’ve won the crystal globe. I still want to win every race and especially the competition in Pyeongchang, it is a special lead up to the Olympic games 2018, says Anna.
